About Learn English NZ
Learn English NZ is situated in Plimmerton, a short train journey from central Wellington, the capital 
of New Zealand. Our home looks onto native bush beside the sea, with views across to the South Island of NZ. It is the ideal place to learn English on holiday.
We specialise in teaching adults aged 16-80.
As you can tell, we are outgoing and friendly people who would teach you in a lively way that will encourage you to speak and become confident in everyday general English. We have two adult sons who are now living in other countries, and have hosted many overseas students. We love travelling and have visited many countries in Europe and Asia. We enjoy healthy food and mainly eat fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Maisie also likes to bake cakes and muffins. Of course, when you live at our house we will eat all our meals together as a social occasion and an ideal opportunity to practice English conversation. Learn English on vacation and combine learning with relaxation.

Maisie Tremain MEdPsych, DipEdPsych, DipTC, LTCL, TESOL Certificate
Kevin is a qualified teacher with a Masters degree in Information Technology, and in addition to teaching also has extensive business experience gained through working in a variety of industries. Maisie is also a qualified teacher with a Masters degree in Educational Psychology. We have both completed TESOL qualifications and taught English in Italy, China and Lithuania. We are also involved in teaching English to recent migrants to New Zealand and using Skype as a tool for teaching women in Afghanistan.
